Level 1:

  • Estimated annual base pay: $65,120.00(minimum) - $81,400.00(midpoint) - $97,680.00(maximum)

Level 2:

  • Estimated annual base pay: $76,600.00(minimum) - $94,500.00(midpoint) - $113,400.00(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Mechanical Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Mechanical Engineer reports to the Engineering Leader and is responsible for the performance of routine functions which require the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.

What You Will Be Doing

Level 1:

  • Completes assigned tasks on schedule, coordinating with other departments as needed.
  • Identifies limitations, learns from experts, and explores process improvements.
  • Performs routine engineering tasks using standard techniques and procedures.
  • Investigates products and documents findings in reports.
  • Conducts tolerance stack-ups, O-ring squeeze calculations, and basic hydraulic/stress analyses.
  • Assists senior engineers by performing small component tests.
  • Develops and maintains component design proposals, balancing specifications with manufacturing/cost factors.
  • Creates detailed 2D/3D designs with dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Manages drawings, BOMs, and releases in WISE.

Level 2:

  • Works assigned tasks to meet schedule and may coordinate details with other departments.
  • Recognizes problems which are beyond capabilities and is learning from the experts in the area.
  • May implement process improvements on a project level.
  • Performs work which involves the use of conventional engineering practices.
  • Investigates products and documents findings in report format.
  • Analyzes simple components without supervision. Hydraulic, stress and control theory analysis is typically performed.
  • Writes and performs component tests with some supervision.
  • Dispositions hardware with supervision

What We Are Looking For

Level 1:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication, with developing technical writing skills.
  • Basic problem-solving, troubleshooting, and time management abilities.
  • Skilled in using PCs, software, and standard analytical tools (e.g., Excel).
  • Basic knowledge of industry standards, quality systems, PLC processes, and manufacturing practices.
  • Learning component function, testing, drawings, geometric tolerances, and shop procedures.

Level 2:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in related field or entry level Master of Science degree required
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication, with developing technical writing skills.
  • Basic problem-solving, troubleshooting, and time management abilities.
  • Skilled in using PCs, software, and standard analytical tools (e.g., Excel).
  • Effective time management skills
  • Knowledge of industry standards, quality systems, PLC processes, and manufacturing practices.
  • Learning component function, testing, drawings, geometric tolerances, and shop procedures.
