We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Building, Energy and Infrastructure (BEI) Group as a Business Development Specialist at our new headquarters office in Raleigh. YOUR DAY-TO- DAY WILL INCLUDE:
- Lead initiatives to generate and engage with clients and partners to build new and repeat business for Buildings, Energy, and Infrastructure (BEI) in the Raleigh, Charlotte, Asheville and adjacent regions.
- Support existing customer pipeline and assist in growing new pipeline of new clients and partners through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting including marketing, outreach to clients to develop effective teams for proposals.
- Research leads, market, industry leaders, and regional programs to drive lead generation and to gain information that will help position the team for more client meetings and strategic wins.
- Help increase BEI's presence at industry events, in person and online.
- Provide feedback from clients and partners to help drive the service delivery roadmap.
- Provide timely follow-up with clients and assist in populating updated data in our sales pipeline to support sales goals for the region.
- Coordinate with Regional Technical Leaders on business development efforts and needs
- Organize and lead monthly business development meetings with the Raleigh team leaders, marketing, business unit (BU) administrator, and the BU Director
- Review RFQ submittals to ensure strategic win themes are clearly stated and RFQ requirements are met
- Review incoming RFQs and provide feedback to team leadership.
- Travel approximately 30% to company offices (varies based on client and conference needs), client and partner locations, industry events, and other locations as required.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or similar BA or BS degree.
- Strong communication skills to maintain and grow client relationships.
- Must be able to communicate constructively with all levels within an organization.
