LOCATION This is a hybrid (virtual/onsite) position with minimum onsite requirements on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday assigned to One Energy Plaza located in Jackson, MI. The candidate must be within a commutable distance from the location or willing to relocate (relocation package available to those who qualify). GENERAL SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The Executive Director Strategy and Projects is responsible for the development and execution of CMS Energy strategy (specifically Supply Chain), leading the strategic management and project teams. The incumbent is responsible for understanding and monitoring the strategic implications of changes in the company's business environment, internal strategic consulting for senior executive team on high-priority assignments and performing on-demand M&A analytics and due diligence. The Executive Director Corporate Strategy and Projects will benchmark marketing performance, industry intelligence, and develop strategic initiatives for optimum performance and P&L results working directly with business leaders and stakeholder. This position is responsible for the regulated strategic projects/ innovation team to research, source and create new customer offerings as well as supporting the existing business unit growth strategies (CE, Enterprises and ES Services) and create new growth avenues for the company.
