As a prospective risk adjustment and quality product team, we assist providers with critical clinical insights for comprehensive member assessments, supporting early detection and ongoing management of chronic conditions.

As a Sr. Product Manager, this role will be responsible to launch new products and support go to market plans for prospective products. Scope of work includes product ideation, define, design, development, launch and management of products thru the product lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Align product vision with larger portfolio strategy, develop business case, and manage product development thru the product lifecycle. Drive go-to-market strategies
  • Gather, manage and prioritize market/customer requirements and develop and drive near and long-term strategies that increase product value over time
  • Develop persona-based workflows and end to end journeys, identifying pain points to be closed and business requirements to enable the business benefit
  • Constantly collect and analyze performance data (e.g., market; financial; operational) in order to enhance existing products and identify new opportunities for the business
  • Drive and manage high-quality execution across organizational lines
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to internal stakeholders on specific marketplace and product topics
  • Support sales and account management for key client activities
  • Collaborate with internal leaders and external partners to gain an understanding of their business needs and adapt product strategy, priorities, and business plans accordingly
  • Develop a point of view and advocate for a position and product at all levels of the organization, including directly to executive leadership

Required Qualifications:



  • 7+ years of product management or product development experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Health Care setting
  • 4+ years of experience in Agile software development approach
  • 4+ years of experience defining and managing product roadmaps
  • Go-to-Market experience (Client-Facing, Cost Benefit & Financial Analysis)
  • Subject Matter Expertise in the Risk Adjustment & Quality



Preferred Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of experience working in a product role supporting Risk Adjustment and/or Quality products
  • 2+ years of experience in presenting to and engaging and large team (20+) across the organization (Strategy/Product)
  • EHR Integration experience
  • Experience working in a large, matrix environment
  • Experience managing capital investments
  • Experience working as a manager and/or lead for a product team

The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
