Job Function Summary



Coloplast has an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Manager to join one of the fastest growing Medical Device companies, whose mission is to make a difference in people's lives. Coloplast builds everyday use innovative solutions for people with Spinal Cord Injury and Spina Bifida, dealing with continence and incontinence problems and ostomates.

The Portfolio Manager leads the short-term & long-term portfolio strategy for the Continence Care portfolio supporting our key product brands, SpeediCath, Self-Cath, and Optima. The Portfolio Manager works across the organization to implement marketing plans, develop and deploy programs, and manage specific projects to support the growth objectives of the Continence Care product portfolio

You will work with a small team, reporting directly to the Director of marketing for our Continence Care business. On a global scale, you will collaborate and partner with a variety of individuals and teams both internally and externally.




Major Areas of Accountability




  • Driving the development of a clear and actionable strategy for the Continence Care portfolio. Creates and implements marketing programs driven by market insights leading to grow the US business. Being the overall lead for the strategic planning and a seamless execution of campaigns and sales activities
  • Maintaining a solid understanding of the market by monitoring the competitive market, pricing, and reimbursement information. Identifying trends or changes that will impact business and recommending actions and contingency plans to maximize opportunities for Coloplast.
  • Proactively managing downstream portfolio needs in support of US marketing strategies and providing market assessments including sales expectations for upstream products to Global Marketing to prepare for future product launches.
  • Developing product promotional materials to support product launches, campaigns, product education, and product commercialization materials, including packaging and labeling.
  • Developing, supporting, and providing sales training and materials for all internal and external sales teams to support our growth initiatives.
  • Forecasting & Managing inventory levels

Basic Qualifications




  • BS/BA in Business or Marketing, MBA preferred
  • 3+ years Marketing experience
  • Highly analytical in both qualitative and quantitative data
  • International and Domestic travel required
  • High proficiency Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems with minimal direction and make decisions with confidence

  • Competitive Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $116,756 - $145,945. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses and/or incentives.
