RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This is a remote role offering a flexible work environment and the ability to work from home. We have several members of our larger accounting team with bachelor's degrees in accounting and finance who started their career in accounts payable at RAYUS to then move on to full-cycle accountant roles. The accounting team at RAYUS Radiology is a diverse group of accounting professionals fostering continuous learning, employee appreciation and promoting an inclusive culture. Successful associates may experience a high level of career growth within the accounting department or branch off into other areas of this growing company including, but not limited to, Treasury, Revenue Center Management, Business Development and Financial Analyst roles. This job may be performed remotely anywhere within the continental United States.

As a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for independently running Accounts Payable (A/P) processes for more complex markets or departments in a timely manner, ensuring Company policies are being adhered to and deadlines are being met. This position is full-time remote, working Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(50%) Accounts Payable Processing

• Processes vendor invoices accurately and timely for high volume markets
• Processes patient and insurance company refunds for payment
• Matches purchase orders to invoices in paperless system ensuring product is received and payment is issued
• Contacts associates initiating purchase order or check request when discrepancies or missing information is identified
• Codes invoices and check requests accurately prior to payment
• Contacts vendors as needed to ensure proper payment of invoices
• Submits positive pay files to banks
• Runs 1099's at year end
• Supports higher complexity markets/departments
• Reconciles Accounts Payable trade accounts
• Processes rent payments
• Reconciles Insight A/P check distribution account and performs necessary journal entries
• Ensures no double payments are made
• Maintains Wells Fargo procurement card database
• Generates monthly executive report for all procurement card violations and presents findings to upper level executives
• Maintains A/P checklist for new or closing centers
• Works with Auditors as needed
• Prepares analysis of accounts, as requested

(20%) Assists in month end close process

(10%) Accounts Payable Staff Support

• Acts as informal mentor and coach to other members of the A/P team and assists in the training of new A/P Specialists
• Functions as Accounts Payable Manager in their absence
• Audits adherence to procedures & authorization levels

(10%) Performs other tasks as assigned

Required:

• 4 or more years of accounts payable experience
• Intermediate Excel skills

Preferred:

• Coupa software experience
