Job Title: Technical Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities




  • Provide prompt and professional technical support via phone and email across all product lines.



  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to irrigation and filtration systems.



  • Assist customers with installation, operation, and maintenance of products.



  • Conduct on-site training sessions and support system start-ups as needed.



  • Act as a liaison between the company and customers, clearly communicating company policies and handling quality complaints.



  • Collect, analyze, and report customer feedback to inform product improvements.



  • Promote after-sales services, including spare parts, service contracts, and maintenance agreements.



  • Identify and evaluate pilot program opportunities, participate in product trials, and deliver technical analysis of results.



  • Collaborate with sales managers on quotes, special product requests, and technical configurations.



  • Support order processing, project planning, and coordination of sales workflows.



  • Communicate product trends and issues to Quality Control and Product Management teams.



  • Organize and participate in sales meetings, trade shows, and marketing events.



  • Assist with the creation of new product documentation, part numbers, and technical guides.



  • Partner with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and contribute to digital marketing campaigns.




Qualifications

Education & Experience:




  • Bachelor's degree preferred.



  • Minimum 3 years of experience in irrigation, water filtration systems, or a related technical field.



  • Experience with SAP Sales and Distribution (S/D) is a plus.



  • Solid understanding of customer service principles, technical sales processes, and support best practices.




Skills:




  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.



  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.



  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.




Work Environment & Physical Requirements


  • Primarily office-based, with occasional visits to manufacturing or field sites.



  • Fieldwork may include assembly/disassembly of filtration system components.




Travel Requirements

  • Willingness to travel regularly (up to 50%) for customer visits, product training, trade shows, and field support.
