Job Title: Technical Sales Representative Key Responsibilities
Provide prompt and professional technical support via phone and email across all product lines.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to irrigation and filtration systems.
Assist customers with installation, operation, and maintenance of products.
Conduct on-site training sessions and support system start-ups as needed.
Act as a liaison between the company and customers, clearly communicating company policies and handling quality complaints.
Collect, analyze, and report customer feedback to inform product improvements.
Promote after-sales services, including spare parts, service contracts, and maintenance agreements.
Identify and evaluate pilot program opportunities, participate in product trials, and deliver technical analysis of results.
Collaborate with sales managers on quotes, special product requests, and technical configurations.
Support order processing, project planning, and coordination of sales workflows.
Communicate product trends and issues to Quality Control and Product Management teams.
Organize and participate in sales meetings, trade shows, and marketing events.
Assist with the creation of new product documentation, part numbers, and technical guides.
Partner with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and contribute to digital marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in irrigation, water filtration systems, or a related technical field.
Experience with SAP Sales and Distribution (S/D) is a plus.
Solid understanding of customer service principles, technical sales processes, and support best practices.
Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Primarily office-based, with occasional visits to manufacturing or field sites.
Fieldwork may include assembly/disassembly of filtration system components.
Travel Requirements
- Willingness to travel regularly (up to 50%) for customer visits, product training, trade shows, and field support.
