What you'll be doing

Responsible for application support of Customer Care and Store web applications in the value segment. This includes designing workflow, development and automation of tools to be used by command center and support members to resolve tickets in a timely manner. Work closely with the development team on backlog, RCAs and adoption of new feature launches.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following...

  • Leading team of 50+ engineers and meet defined SLAs for customer experience

  • Developing process reflow applications and automation tools

  • Developing proficiencies across systems and partners to meet SLAs

  • Defining strategy and execution of AI Ops and LLM integration for application support

  • Building Datafixes framework and abstraction for address incident impacted customers

  • Developing and maintain operational standards (SLO, SLIs) for all users journeys with funnel monitoring

  • Responsible for assessing response, determining root cause for all incidents

  • Developing dashboards, alerting mechanisms and operations for early detection, effective categorization, predictive root cause and self healing

  • Building technical requirements to agile development teams

  • Defining training for support and adoption for new feature launches

  • Leading Continuous documentation and knowledge sharing for faster resolution

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience

  • Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Expertise in application support for web applications including: JavaScript technologies likes angular and/or nextjs

  • Expertise in application support for middle tier applications including Java and Spring Boot

  • Expertise in application support for database technologies like oracle and Cassandra

  • Experience in ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Jira

  • Experience in using APM, User experience monitoring and Log monitoring tools

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Experience with BPM technologies like BPM, Pega, Camunda

  • Experience designing and implementing Java and spring ecosystems including Spring boot and Spring security applications or microservices

  • Experience with anomaly detection on Opensearch/ELK/Splunk platforms

  • Experience with database technologies like oracle, Cassandra and Postgres

  • Experience doing blameless post incident analysis

  • Experience with monitoring tools

  • Experience with tracing and observability like Jaeger, opentelemetry

  • Experience with User experience monitoring tools like Newrelic, Quantum Metrics, Glassbox

  • Understanding of L1, L2 Reference architectures and design implementation patterns

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
