Job Summary

The Business Analyst is accountable for driving results in a fast-paced environment by managing client contract requirements, providing financial guidance to project managers, creating invoices, performing project closings/reconciliations, reviewing payment history and reviewing CRM and ERP entries for accuracy.



On-Site Expectations

    100% remote position. On-site expectations as needed.
  • Preference to those residing near RTP, ILM, OR CHS.
  • 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.


Responsibilities

  • Financial management of contracts, including managing milestone payment requirements, direct revenue billing, pass through expenses, and deposit reconciliation.
  • Generates and manages invoices associated with customer contracts and ensures financial data is correct.
  • Invoices according to payment terms within defined guidelines.
  • Creates contracts, sales orders and master data in ERP upon customer signature of contracts.
  • Works with project managers to determine if/when change orders are needed.
  • Works with applicable personnel to resolve basic to moderately complex discrepancies in contracts, CRM, ERP or other documents/systems.
  • Updates CRM and ERP as needed.
  • Prepares responses to internal requests for financial information, as well as responds to billing questions from customers.
  • Reviews work-in-process (ENB/WIP) and works with operations to ensure project statuses are kept up to date.
  • Assists with collection issues as needed.
  • Conducts cost analysis with management assistance as needed.
  • Performs project closing/reconciliation.
  • Ensures timely completion and compliance with cGMP, financial audit, and all other relevant company training requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field with 4+ years of related experience required.

Travel Expectations

Up to 5% travel required.
