We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team within Enterprise Workforce Optimization (EWO). The ideal candidate will possess a blend of hard and soft skills, enabling them to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency in various software applications, solid organizational abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Support long-term operational/strategic business activities by developing, enhancing, and maintaining operational information and models in Microsoft Excel and various databases
  • Collaborate with Business Partners to build data modeling and analyze future project or initiative impacts on EWO and the business workforce
  • Analyze and seek out information to complete tasks, asking questions to clarify processes and confirm project scope
  • Conduct and manage outcomes of various studies, including analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, and presenting information for operational and business planning
  • Present and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from Analysts to VPs
  • Educate and train team members on processes and act as a change agent to support initiatives
  • Work collaboratively in a matrix organization, building relationships and influencing without authority
  • Maintain attention to detail to catch potential errors and concerns
  • Develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes
  • Manage multiple projects and requests simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of results

Required Qualifications:



  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including formula building
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency with Access, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in data modeling and analysis tools
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate to advanced communication skills, with the proven ability to present and work with all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with team members using Microsoft Teams and SharePoint. Proven comfort working in a SharePoint environment
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to personnel changes and new roles and responsibilities
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple scopes of work, driving results on all fronts
  • Demonstrated ability to be curious about the big picture, comfortable with the unknown, and willing to question the status quo



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience in the healthcare industry
  • Experience with forecasting and workforce planning
  • Advanced Excel skills, including macros and VBA
  • Independent thinker with the demonstrated ability to work autonomously
  • Proven willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
