Job Description:The Director of Outpatient Pharmacy Services is responsible for the direction and leadership of operational, financial, programmatic, scholarly, and personnel activities within the areas of oversight. This includes establishing, meeting and continuously monitoring the goals and objectives while maintaining alignment with the strategic goals and objectives for John Muir Health. While the range of duties and responsibilities is broad and varied, the position's major responsibility is directing day-to-day operations, budgeting, financial management, and human resource management. The Director works closely with a variety of stakeholders, coordinating the activities across the enterprise related to areas of oversight. The scope of oversight includes a variety of departments and programs and chairing area specific committees depending.
The Director of Outpatient Pharmacy Services is responsible for developing the annual operating budget for the areas of responsibility, participating in the capital budget process for the Outpatient Pharmacy, completing monthly variance reports for areas of oversight, analyzing and interpreting financial analysis and developing reports related to financial performance in the areas of oversight.
The Director of Outpatient Pharmacy Services serves as the programmatic and operational leader within the Outpatient Pharmacies, is responsible to the Chief Pharmacy Officer and works closely with John Muir Health employees and the pharmacy and organizational leadership teams. This requires coordination with other members of the pharmacy leadership team, and other leaders within the organization.

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited organization- Required Pharm D degree from an accredited institution - Preferred Master's degree in pharmacy administration, healthcare administration, business or other relevant subject area - Preferred

Work Experience
Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY2 pharmacy residency in health-system pharmacy administration or equivalent work experience - Required Five (5) years of health-system pharmacy leadership and management experience - Required Specialty Pharmacy, 340B & Infusion Pharmacy Experience- Required Has held administrative positions in a large or complex health system for at least three (3) years - Preferred

Work Shift:Exempt Salaried (United States of America)
Pay Range: $238,462.00 - $357,693.00
Salary
Offer amounts are based on
demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.
Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.
