We are looking for a Social Media & Content Creator Specialist to join our eCommerce Marketing Team. Are you passionate about home improvement DIY projects and building brands social growth and brand presence? Do you have experience managing influencers and creating social media strategies and growing social media engagement? In this digital marketing role, you will be responsible for creating, managing and optimizing our organic and paid media campaigns across various channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) as well as add new social channels to our digital marketing programs. In addition to social media, you will manage our brands influencers programs and utilize our social platform to gauge our brands share of voice and identify trending topics. You will collaborate with the broader marketing to develop, implement, and track performance metrics to achieve key business objectives. This role demands a combination of creativity and data-driven decision-making to maximize the return on investment (ROI) from paid advertising efforts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Social Media and Website Management
- Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with overall marketing goals ensuring uniform content and tone of voice for landing pages, graphics, and other elements within the communities.
- Build Danco's fan base and increase the number of followers we have on our social media platforms by following and engaging with industry experts, influencers, customers and consumers.
- Create and implement engaging social shareable content with the latest social media trends, blogs, press releases and email campaigns.
- Develop quarterly content calendars, write and implement content weekly for company brands.
- Performs research to find articles, stories, resources and other content that is relevant to our customer base and posts it to our website and social networks in a manner that invites conversation and interaction as well.
- Manage and optimize social media profiles and pages on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others utilizing Danco's social media and influencer management platform.
- Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and engagement as well as consistently responds to posts or comments with brand voice including identifying and addressing potential issues or negative feedback with positive responses.
- Develop a program to engage Danco's brands on outside blogs, forums (Reddit), and social networks to bring value, build brand loyalty and protects brand reputation.
- Build and nurture online communities around the brand and encourage interaction and foster a sense of community among followers.
- Implement Danco websites content updates and contribute to website design projects in various ways.
Reporting & Analysis
- Regularly track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (KPI) including Impressions, click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, engagement rates, video views, cost-per-click (CPC), and return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Provide in-depth performance analysis and utilize actionable insights to improve the effectiveness of paid media campaigns and inform future strategies.
- Manage and track Influencer KPIs by utilizing social influencer management platform and develop monthly influencer report out for the broader organization.
- Coordinate with the broader marketing team to align paid media campaigns with larger marketing objectives and product launches.
Budget Management
- Manage digital advertising budgets, ensuring optimal allocation across platforms and campaigns to achieve the best ROI.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis and recommend adjustments based on performance trends.
Trend Monitoring & Best Practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in digital advertising, new platform features, and industry best practices.
- Continuously experiment with new tactics and platforms to ensure our paid media strategies stay ahead of the curve.
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on paid media and influencer management.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Retail/Digital Merchandising, Advertising, Business communications or Journalism.
- Proven experience as a Content Creator, Social Media Specialist, or similar role in a fast-paced digital environment.
- Solid understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS), social media scheduling tools, and analytics platforms.

- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail, accuracy and consistency.
- Positive, Self-starter individual that is detail-oriented and organized with the ability to work independently
- Have a passion for the world of social media/digital marketing, communications and eCommerce
- Proven written communication skills, and a passion for writing both short- and long-copy
- Familiarity with key social media tools advertising & analytics (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
- Proficient with using Excel for data manipulation and analytics
- Prolific PowerPoint & Canva presentation skillset
- Effective communicator, especially over email, a must.
- Organized, with an ability to prioritize more urgent assignments
- Passion for social media, digital marketing and eCommerce
