Custodian - Graveyard (2 positions aviailable) Salary: $45,816.00 - $55,830.00 Annually Job Type: Classified Staff Job Number: 158 Closing: 5/13/2025 11:59 PM Pacific Location: Santa Barbara, CA Department: Facilities & Operations Basic Functions Under the direction of the Custodial Supervisor, perform routine custodial duties to maintain assigned College buildings and adjacent grounds areas in a clean, orderly and secure condition during an assigned shift. Representative Duties ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
OTHER DUTIES: Perform related duties as assigned. Education and Experience Any combination equivalent to: sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities. Understanding of and sensitivity to meeting the needs of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic background of the student, community, and employee population. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
WORKING HOURS: M onday-Thursday 8pm-4:30am, Friday 3:30pm-11:30pm Hours may vary. 12 months per year, plus fringe benefits; 6 month probation period depending on employee classification. All work schedules and work assignments are subject to change based on the needs of the college. SALARY INFORMATION: The current salary range for the Custodian position is Salary Table 29, Range 15, $45,816 - $51,813. Nine step salary range continues to a maximum of $55,830. Graveyard shift subject to 7.5% differential. Initial placement based on experience with annual advancement to the next higher step. Knowledge and Abilities KNOWLEDGE OF:
