This is currently a Portland-based remote role, with expectation to be on-site at CSC's HQ near Portland on a quarterly and as-needed basis.

As our Employee Relations (ER) Specialist you will serve as a key ER team member focused on investigating critical employee relations issues that are compliance focused and at times crisis-oriented and time sensitive. You will work in closepartnership with Legal, Human Resource Business Partners and other leaders to drive consistent ER processes across the organizationwhile minimizing risk and ensuring a positive ethical workplace. Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours.

HOWYOU'LLMAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Conduct impartial and objective workplace investigations of sensitive employee relations issues.

  • Make recommendations following investigations of policyviolations or professional misconduct concerns and determine appropriate resolution or disciplinary action.

  • Provide consultative guidance and coaching for HRBPs and other internal partners on employeerelations matters, with a focus on complex, sensitive, or high-risk compliance issues.

  • Maintain detailed files for ER cases with a timely recording of notes and supportingdocumentation into the ER case management system.

  • Facilitate training to build employee relations skills amongst the HR community and peoplemanagers.

  • Assist with ad hoc department projects, as needed

YOU ARE

  • An experienced investigator, adept at identifying risk

  • Collaborative with a knack for building productive, trusting cross-functional partnerships

  • Curious and have a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on evolving stakeholder partnerships in service to the corporate enterprise

  • A self-starter who is organized and detail focused with an ability to act quickly and urgently, sometimes without clear definition

  • An excellent writer, with experience writing clear and concise investigation reports

YOUHAVE

  • Bachelors degree required.

  • 5-8 years total experience with 3+ years combined years of directly applicable HR and Employee Relations experience,including prior HR Generalist experience; in lieu of this experience may consider experience from other areas involving internal investigations, such as internal audit, loss prevention, or other similar area of risk management

  • Ability to communicate at the highest level throughout the investigation process via writtenand oral communication with stakeholders

  • Excellent judgement and knowledge of US employment laws and regulations and the ability to appropriately spotemployment risks and issues

  • Experience planning, conducting and documenting workplace investigations

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion while handling sensitive information

  • Verbal and written proficiency in Spanish (preferred)
