About the Job

Position Overview

The Regional Campus Curriculum Coordinator reports to the Regional Campus Manager and plays a crucial role in supporting Regional Campus curricular operations. The role will involve coordinating and supporting a range of academic and logistical activities to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience for students. Additionally, the coordinator will collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to provide essential curriculum support, including course logistics, faculty support, and maintaining operational curricular processes.

Duties/Responsibilities

40%: Campus Course Coordination

  • Assist in the campus specific management and coordination of the curriculum, starting with the Orientation and Foundations Phase of the curriculum.
  • Provide campus logistical support for courses, including scheduling, room reservations, and supply coordination.
  • Manage faculty support for small group teaching sessions, including problem-based learning (PBL) and clinical skills sessions, and coordinate teaching schedules.
  • Support campus course delivery, ensuring that all necessary resources (e.g., materials, technology, and supplies) are available for faculty and students.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure the integration of technology in the classroom.
  • Ensure that faculty and staff are prepared for in-person teaching and course facilitation, including providing relevant training and resources.

40%: Curricular Operations and Maintenance

  • Maintain and update campus specific schedules relating to Early Clinical Experiences (ECE) & Early Clinical Immersion Weeks (ECI)
  • Assist with tracking longitudinal student progress throughout the Foundations Phase.
  • Manage campus specific student groups for Clinical Skills , anatomy groups, and problem-based learning (PBL) groups, and ensure appropriate assignment of students to these groups.
  • Collaborate with various departments (e.g., Admissions, Student Affairs, IT) to facilitate smooth course execution and resolve any logistical issues that may arise, which may include rescheduling sessions as needed.

10%: Simulation and Clinical Skills Support

  • Provide campus specific logistical support for clinical skills courses and simulation activities, including recruitment and scheduling of standardized/actors/practice patients, room setup, and supply management.
  • Work with campus faculty and central course management staff to plan and implement simulation sessions for the regional campus
  • Act as a point of contact for all campus specific simulation-related activities, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning.
  • Manage faculty support for simulated clinical experiences, including scheduling physician involvement and ensuring all logistical elements are in place, including materials management.

10%: Canvas and Academic Dashboard Management

  • Manage the content of non-academic Canvas courses, including faculty and student resource sites.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of academic dashboards to track student performance in the Foundations Phase curriculum.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED and five years related experience to include project management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Google Suite Applications (Calendar, Drive, Email, etc.)
  • Ability to determine, organize and prioritize the offices' clerical activities and coordinate them with other administrative/servicing units.
  • Familiarity with database, spreadsheet, and word processing software
  • Knowledge of higher or professional education setting
  • Management and supervisory experience

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $26.00 - $27.55 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience
