Shift Hours are Monday - Friday 5:30 am to 2:00 pm

Job Summary

Responsible for the layout, repair, modification, and preventative maintenance of a wide variety of manufacturing machinery. Dismantles, assembles, and maintains intricate specialized equipment requiring skilled fitting and alignment. Works to diagnose and troubleshoot problems with machinery in a timely manner.

Essential Job Functions



  • Electrical / Mechanical / Hydraulic / Pneumatic diagnosis and repairs of all manufacturing and facility equipment, including CNC machining centers, etc.
  • Maintains all preventative maintenance and machine repair records.
  • Electrical diagnosis and repairs of manufacturing and facility equipment
  • Research and source parts as needed for above listed tasks
  • Assists with special installations and projects
  • Understands drawings and schematics
  • Maintains safety standards and adheres to Company safety programs


Additional Duties



  • Provide support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, companywide.
  • Other duties, reporting, special assignments, or projects as needed and assigned.
  • Must remain current with and complete all required training as assigned.
  • Must adhere to Company Corporate EHS Policy and department, occupation, and task specific safety protocols, including but not limited to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • May be required to drive own vehicle or company vehicle to pick up maintenance tools/equipment/parts offsite at vendor locations.


Qualifications



  • 5 years' experience in electrical and mechanical repair of CNC machining centers.
  • Basic computer skills to navigate within a Windows environment
  • Attention to detail with safety as a priority
  • Physical requirements include pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, standing, sitting, or kneeling for long periods of time
  • Knowledge of lean tools a plus
  • Must submit to and satisfactorily pass any pre-employment screening required for employment with the Company.
  • Must take medical exams required by law, in conjunction with occupation specific activities, the physical work environment, and ongoing industrial hygiene sampling results.
  • Depending on assignment, may be required to use stairs, remain upright and/or seated for prolonged timeframes, intermittently reposition the body per various tasks performed, and use various tools and work-related supplies.
  • May be required to perform manual lifting activities, not to exceed a 40lb lift performed by one individual.


Education



  • High School Diploma or equivalent
