Summary: In this role, you will lead sales efforts for Vizient Spend Management Solutions. You will identify, develop, coordinate, and execute sales efforts across the United States for various spend management solutions with the objective to expand our technology footprint, increase solution adoption, and support integrated models to deliver client value and grow top-line revenue and total business margin Responsibilities: * Drive new business across the Vizient membership and other markets to meet revenue, booking, and EBIDTA goals. * Serve as the lead subject matter expert for all solutions within their solution portfolio, with a focus on integration into services. * Build and maintain strong professional relationships across the sales organization, client management organization, and managed services team supporting technology sales across all territories. * Partner with the client management and sales teams to ensure each client sales executive is developing technology adoption and expansion strategies for each of the current or prospective members within the US. * Coordinate with all respective stakeholders to develop, position, and execute regional network sales efforts, which will include but not be limited to network leadership, sales, client management, product management, PI advisors, managed services leads, and others as appropriate. * Develop, lead, and manage standard sales operational components for thetechnology sales team, including but not limited to sales pipe tracking, sales tracking, commission validation, RFPs/RFIs, proposal creation, contract review, and budgeting. * Assist pricing and product teams with pricing and packaging structures aimed at enabling additional revenue and price discipline. * Discover and share key insights with product management, strategy teams, and other stakeholders regarding product improvements, enhancements, or new opportunities. Qualifications: * A relevant bachelor's degree is preferred; an advanced degree is a strong plus. * 10 or more years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry is required. * Deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, including market dynamics, key stakeholders, and industry trends. * Proven experience in healthcare consultative solution selling, healthcare consulting, or healthcare marketing is highly preferred. * Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and other key decision-makers. * Expertise in developing, executing, and measuring the success of sales strategies. * Demonstrated experience onboarding new clients in the healthcare sector, ensuring a seamless and professional transition into services. * Exceptional listening and communication skills, with the ability to assess and align with client needs from programmatic, financial, technical, and organizational perspectives. * Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and a solution-oriented mindset. * Willingness and ability to travel as needed. Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances.
