Ever-Green Energy is looking for a team member to report to the Operations Manager at the Hennepin County Energy Center (HCEC). The Instrument and Controls (I&C) Specialist is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and calibration of process instrumentation and controls of the district heating and cooling equipment and customer buildings. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; push and pull objects; reach at/below shoulder level and reach overhead; stoop, kneel and crouch; climb ladders/ropes/scaffolding; use gross manipulation to seize, hold, grasp, turn or otherwise work with hands; use fine manipulation to pick or pinch objects with fingers; confined space; and use peripheral vision. Must be capable of maneuvering throughout industrial facilities such as energy plants and building HVAC mechanical rooms, etc. This is a union position with an hourly pay at $53.85.
