Summary:

Work closely with the Foundation staff to provide special event and marketing communication support. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with marketing and communication materials for the Rogers Golf Classic, Women's Gathering and Celebrate the Light Gala events, as well as other donor-related activities. Assist in content creation and maintain updates for the Foundation website, Intranet page, Facebook, and MailChimp bulk emails. Assist with Foundation research and writing for such communication materials as: newsletters, brochures, letters, bulk emails, articles for the web, etc. Serve as a supportive member of the Foundation office staff. Assist in promoting a team atmosphere by treating individuals with respect and honesty and by using direct communication and active listening skills.

Assist with other duties as assigned. Promote department goals as well as the mission of the hospital.

  • Project a professional image by wearing appropriate, professional attire.

Physical/Mental Demands:

  • Believe in the importance of the mission of Rogers Memorial Hospital.
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively without extensive supervision.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate both in spoken words and in writing.
  • Willing to be part of a team, working together with mutual respect and cooperation.
  • Work takes place inside a building at a desk, with some walking and standing.
  • Reaching, handling and fingering are necessary to operate various pieces of office equipment.
  • Verbal and hearing ability required to interact with employees.
  • Numerical ability required to maintain records and operate a computer.
  • Must be able to read and communicate through written, verbal and auditory skills and abilities.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

Education/Training Requirements:

  • Computer proficiency and working knowledge Windows packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Microsoft Publisher experience helpful.
  • High school diploma required.
