About the Unit

Our goal in Nutrition Services Senior Campus is to provide excellent food services by following instructions and standards. Ensuring the residents have a wonderful dining experience, just like we would want for our families and ourselves.

Mission for Position

To provide exceptional dining experience. No food leaves our kitchen, we ourselves would not eat. Be loose and have fun.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepares meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook
• Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
• Clears dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc.
• Discards leftovers and takes out garbage.
• Cleans food stations and washes dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
• Stocks ingredients and monitors' inventory.
• Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning as needed.
• Helps maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Washing dishes.
• Putting dishes away

Position Type

• This is a casual position: this is a flexible, as-needed position. Casual employees are called to work based on staffing needs, without a guaranteed number of hours.
• 8 hours per month.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older
