Responsibilities
Located in Sacramento, California, Sierra Vista Hospital is a compassionate behavioral health facility and a center of support for adult and adolescent patients and their families. Since 1986, we have offered our clinical expertise to those suffering from behavioral health disorders or dual diagnosis. Our private 171-bed facility is home to a clinical team of licensed professionals committed to providing the highest quality care. We also provide inpatient alcohol detox and outpatient chemical dependency services. Visit us online at: https://sierravistahospital.com/ The Director of Intervention Services Unit is responsible for managing and directing an 8-chair behavioral health crisis unit with 24/7 coverage including developing and maintaining staffing schedules, coordinating admissions and discharges, and developing and implementing daily treatment regimen in collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team. In addition, this position will oversee the clinical operations prescreening, crisis support, scheduling, and drop-in assessments. The Director supports coordination with other services for individuals admitted to the unit and will provide clinical leadership, management, and direct care to individuals admitted to the crisis unit. About Universal Health Services Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Master's Degree in Social Work or related field required. An Active RN or LCSW license or in the State of California required. Minimum five (5) years' experience in psychiatric/mental health field, with a minimum of three (3) years in a lead/managerial capacity.
