Description Acara Solutions has an opening for a Mechanical Inspector in Fremont, CA. Perform GD&T mechanical inspection of parts and materials using a variety of electronic instruments, in a manual mode, including electronic height gages, comparators, CMM, micrometers, calipers, thread gages and pin gages for feature of size characteristics. Perform visual inspection of parts and materials using unaided eye and magnification. Perform 100% inspection on parts and materials as directed. Under limited supervision performs a variety of inspection functions including: first piece, in-process, final, and receiving inspection of machined parts or materials being received from suppliers. Ability to complete special inspection projects with direction. Works with machinists to assist in inspection methods. Accurate and reliable user of quality and MRP systems. Independently manages and maintains workflow and priority requirements. Oversee Level I inspectors work activities. Independently manages and maintains workflow and priority requirements. Effectively communicates with production and others technical areas of concern regarding dimensional accuracy and compliance. Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor. All essential functions must be performed in an efficient manner.
