Responsibilities:



  • Prepare all month and quarter end reports
  • Coordinate with Division Accounting Manager to forecast costs for tenant suite improvement and building improvement projects
  • Coordinate the demolition costs with Raleigh for all TI projects
  • Code invoices for TI, BI and CWO Projects
  • Track all job costs, reconcile and close out at the completion of the project approximately 120 projects per year
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of all construction projects for reporting
  • Setup and track all the construction building improvements, reconcile and close out at the completion of each project
  • Track and reconcile costs remaining in the "999" holding account; Reclass these costs to the job or dead deals as needed
  • Track and process all construction work orders
  • Review and code all construction related invoices in Nexus
  • Create manual billings for customers as necessary
  • Coordinate with customers to get paperwork needed to reimburse any allowances due
  • Create Notice to Proceeds and Change Orders for all Tenant Improvements and Building Improvements
  • Create and track Master Agreements annually
  • Maintain certificates of insurance for construction consultants and vendors
  • Organize and maintain post construction project files
  • Coordinate Prism Bid submissions


Requirements:



  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Mastery in the creation and manipulation of Excel spreadsheets
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to prioritize deadlines and work independently
  • Must be proficient in JD Edwards and Nexus


Education/Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business and 2 years' of job cost experience in a similar position or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards job cost module or comparable job cost software
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel


Work Environment:

Work is of a general office nature; while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and see; required to use arms and hands to reach and handle; typing on computer keyboard and using phone required. Ability to read, understand, and to communicate information and ideas clearly in writing and orally required. The employee may occasionally need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch; and lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
