The Watts Co-op Program is your chance to bring what you've learned in the classroom to life! You'll dive into real-world projects, gaining hands-on experience while learning how business really works from the inside. During the program, you'll get to roll up your sleeves and make an impact on day-to-day operations. Plus, you'll have tons of opportunities to network with passionate professionals across manufacturing, engineering, corporate and more-sparking new ideas through cross-department collaboration. It's all about expanding your skills, challenging yourself, and exploring where your ambitions can take you!

What You'll Do

Commercial excellenceis the design and delivery ofcommercialbest practices that maximize profitable revenue and margins and increase commercial productivity. You will develop tools and standard processes to improve sales, operational effectiveness and enablement initiatives. You will collaborate with leaders in Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Customer Service to establish and implement strategic initiatives.

  • Document business requirements and process flows, perform gap analysis against critical business requirements providing data driven insights to the organization
  • Support efficiency and effectiveness projects(in partnership with other functions) to address prioritized process opportunities.
  • Translates best practices into detailed process and tool requirements and deploy across the platform
  • Liaison between business users, Product Management, Commercial, Operations, Finance, and the IT organization
  • Champions sales process and tools (CRM-Salesforce, Power BI) within all groups including sales
  • Analyze and implement competitive pricing strategies based on business and financial objectives, market and competitive analysis, and pricing capabilities
  • Monitor and analyze KPI's to achieve the goals of the business
  • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business data to use in reports
  • Maintaining databases, dashboards, and reporting software

Who You Are

  • Currently Senior or MBA student
  • Pursuing a degree inBusiness, Finance, or Marketing
  • Proficient with Excel(Pivot tables,v-lookups, logic functions). Microsoft Access a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively discuss both commercial and technical aspects of a project to all stakeholders
  • Excellent facilitation, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to perform on a strategic and tactical level
  • Excellent planning, organization, time management, and structured thinking skills
  • Ability to work with large data sets.
  • Passionate about your work, with a genuine desire to contribute meaningfully and make an impact.
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity and respect in interactions with others, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership of tasks and following through on commitments.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and do not require sponsorship now or in the future.

Office environment with occasional shop floor working environment. Noise level is minimal. Required to wear safety glasses and utilize other safety equipment as required while present on the shop floor.
