Responsibilities

Global Trust Company (GTC) is seeking an accomplished and motivated Vice President (VP) of Key Relationship Management to lead our client relationship initiatives and enhance our service delivery. This role is essential for fostering strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring that GTC provides exceptional service and value. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of CITs, financial services, and a proven ability to manage and grow client relationships while driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for managing and enhancing client relationships, ensuring alignment with GTC's overall business objectives.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling GTC's products and services to existing clients, contributing to overall sales growth.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, actively engaging with them to understand their goals, address concerns, and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Service Excellence: Ensure that GTC delivers high-quality service and support to clients, fostering a culture of client satisfaction and loyalty across the organization.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, legal, operations, and compliance, to ensure seamless service delivery and address client needs effectively.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish metrics and benchmarks to evaluate the success of relationship management and sales efforts, regularly reviewing performance and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Client Feedback: Proactively seek feedback from clients to assess satisfaction and identify areas for enhancement, implementing changes based on insights gathered.
  • Industry Representation: Represent GTC at client meetings, industry events, and conferences, promoting the company's brand and fostering relationships within the industry.
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in relationship management, client services, or business development within the financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing client relationships while achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess client needs and develop tailored solutions that align with their objectives.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to achieving objectives and driving client success.
