Role Summary

This role plays a key role with the development and visulaization of data and dashboards to identify opportunities and drive process improvements. Inidvidual will play a big part with identifing process and performance gaps causing misses to critical metrics and KPIs. Will also be responsbile for inventory optimization and dvelopment of Service Parts S&OP process.


Responsibilities

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Reporting and Visualization: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Data Sourcing and Integration: Capable of independently sourcing and integrating data from various internal and external sources to support comprehensive analysis and cross-validation efforts.
- Analytical Problem Solving: Identify and solve complex problems, focusing on areas of opportunity for efficiency within the organization using data and metrics.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data processes, reporting capabilities, and overall data maturity within the organization. Identify opportunities for automation and optimization of data workflows.
- Identify process and performance gaps causing misses to critical metrics and KPIs.
- Drive Inventory Improvements allowing organization to achieve Inventory Targets
- Seek out new innovations and present new strategies to continuously improve our inventory position
- Develop and lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for Service Parts Planning
- Performs other duties as required or assigned within the scope of the position.


Qualifications

- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Science, Data Analytics, or a related technical discipline
- 6+ years of experience in structuring, analyzing, and visualizing large data sets while support Service Operations. Experience with dbt, Databricks, a plus.
- Experience with development and implementation of machine learning models and AI algorithms to analyze datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Deployment of statistical methods to validate data and results to ensure the accuracy and reliability of findings.
- An ability to create dashboards or slide decks to tell a story using data including visualizations (HEX Workspace, Google Slides)
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python required
- Prior S&OP development and implementation
- Prior inventory management experience resulting in improved inventory turns.
- Previous experience with Servigistics, PTC Spare Parts Planning software.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause investigations using data and visualizations
- Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects under strict deadlines within a transitioning environment from manual to automated processes
- Concise verbal and written communication; ability to synthesize information into key points
* Ability to stand or sit for 8-10 hours per day


Pay Disclosure

Pay Disclosure:
  • Salary Rate for California Based Applicants: $135,000 to $168,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
  • Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment.
