We're looking for a highly organized and resourceful Business Manager to support the Executive Director and ensure smooth, efficient operations at our Program. This role oversees administrative, financial, and HR functions-ranging from accounting and payroll to personnel management and reporting. If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about making a difference, you may have a place on the AMIkids team.

What You Will Be Doing:



  • Manage day-to-day administrative functions including accounting, budgeting, banking, and financial reporting.
  • Support HR processes such as recruiting, onboarding, personnel file maintenance, and payroll reporting.
  • Assist the Executive Director with board communications, fundraising tasks, and grant support.
  • Maintain program records including contracts, leases, compliance reports, and training documentation.
  • Monitor property inventory, help manage facilities, and coordinate maintenance needs.
  • Serve as a liaison for internal and external communication, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Participate in special events and help manage risk and safety protocols at the program site.
  • Provide clerical support and respond to inquiries from Finance and Support Services teams.


Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or GED required; AA degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience in administration, business management, or accounting preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Community involvement and knowledge of nonprofit operations a plus.
