ABOUT THE POSITION
Position Summary
This position trains new HR employees and works on special projects. This position will work no more than 14 hours/week or 67 days in a calendar year.

Responsibilities
Training (90%)

  • Train new HR team members in areas including (but not limited to):
    • University and Libraries policies, contracts, and rules
    • PeopleSoft entries and reporting
    • Absence management

Special Projects (10%)

  • Complete special projects as requested by the HR Director
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Experience making human resources entries in PeopleSoft
  • Experience pulling reports from the Reporting Center
  • Previous experience in human resources at the University of Minnesota

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to explain complex information in an understandable way
  • Strong attention to detail
Pay and Benefits

Pay: $42.00/hour

Benefits are not available for this temporary and Casual position.
