Trinity University invites you to become a vital part of our Student Financial Services team as a Student Accounts Assistant. This position offers the opportunity to serve as the welcoming face of our office while supporting students, faculty, and staff with payment services, parking administration, and more. This is more than just a role-it's a chance to contribute to the day-to-day operations that keep our vibrant campus running smoothly. What You'll Do As the Student Accounts Assistant, you'll be our go-to person for: * Cashiering Services: Handle student payments and receipts, distribute checks for departments and student organizations, and provide exceptional customer support to students and families. * Petty Cash Oversight: Manage and reconcile a Petty Cash Drawer with accuracy and care, ensuring alignment with university policies. * Parking Administration: Partner with Trinity University Police Department (TUPD) to maintain our online parking system and manage permit sales for students, faculty, and staff. * Campus Updates: Help keep our campus community informed by updating parking web pages and campus maps. * Team Collaboration: Support university-wide efforts with professionalism, integrity, and a team-oriented mindset. What We're Looking For: Education & Experience: * High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Business or Accounting preferred. * At least 1 year of experience in cash handling and customer service in a professional setting. * Proficiency using computers in an office environment. Skills That Make You Stand Out: * A knack for numbers and a sharp eye for detail. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. * Excellent communication-written and verbal-with the ability to interact confidently and respectfully. * A high level of integrity, discretion, and a solutions-driven mindset. * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment (10-key calculator, copier, etc.).
