 Halff has an opening for a Senior Roadway Engineer, with a Texas PE License, to be a Senior Project Manager to join our growing Roadway / Transportation team based out of our McAllen, TX office. The ideal candidate would have at least 15 years of experience in roadway / transportation project development with emphasis in delivery of TxDOT projects.  What you will do:
 
 
     
 Works closely with the Transportation Team Leader in the development and delivery of TxDOT roadway / transportation projectsPerforms complex transportation engineering tasks and leads other professional staff in the development of transportation projectsDevelops and manages project scope, personnel, budgets, schedules and collaborates with clients and stakeholdersManages multiple transportation tasks or projects in support of business needsManages other consultant teams and the workload of design staff including Engineers, EIT's, and technical staff that contribute to the growth and safety of Texas roadwaysReviews transportation deliverables for accuracy and consistencyReports on project progress and budgetsWorks with the Transportation Team Leader and Operations Managers in business development activities
 
 What you will need:  
 
     
 Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degreeProfessional Engineer (PE) License in the State of Texas or are able and willing to obtain Texas PE License within six months of starting dateAt least 15 years of experience in TxDOT roadway / transportation project deliveryMicroStation CADD and OpenRoads experience requiredAbility to lead a project, technical staff, and manage project schedules and budgetsExperience managing roadway design projects and plan productionStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, and decision-making skillsCommitment to qualityPositive attitude, be self-directed yet a team player and a person of high character with a focus on quality, integrity and successTxDOT experience (as a TxDOT employee or consultant) is desirablePrimavera (P6) Experience is desirable
