As the Licensed Psychologist Manager for the Department of Corrections, you will oversee the planning, organization, and direction of the institution's psychological services program. Your role will involve coordinating this program with various disciplines, developing and drafting new policies and procedures for current initiatives, and leading the population Psychiatric Review Team. Additionally, you will serve as a standing member of the Clinical Review Team addressing suicides and attempted suicides, collaborating with psychiatry and medical staff, and conducting psychological assessments and evaluations of inmates.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hour work week
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, 30-minute lunch
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
• This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, mental retardation or behavioral dysfunction.

• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
