This is not full-time employment opportunity. It is an on-call/as-needed position through our staffing agency to support our video production projects.
A portfolio showcasing relevant work in video editing and animation is required. If a portfolio is not available, please provide links to video projects you have participated in.
Summary:
As a multimedia designer, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of high-quality technical training videos for various projects and platforms. You will work closely with other designers, editors and clients to deliver engaging and effective multimedia content that aligns with the company's vision and goals. It is a "post-production-heavy" workload, with occasional need for conducting video shoots in our studio.
Job Duties:
- Create and edit engaging video content for technical training purposes.
- Develop 2D and 3D animations to enhance video presentations.
- Collaborate with other designers, editors, producers, and clients to understand the project objectives, requirements, and specifications.
- Apply best practices and standards of multimedia design, such as color theory, typography, layout, composition, storytelling, etc.
- Use various software and tools to create and edit multimedia content, such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects and Premiere), Blender, Unreal Engine, etc.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of the multimedia content across different platforms and devices.
- Stay informed on modern technology and current industry trends to ensure you use the most updated methods to do the job
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in multimedia design, production, or related field.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and technical training content
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team and with clients
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- A strong attention to detail
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
Education:
- An associate degree in multimedia design, graphic design, animation, film, or related field
- Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in film is preferred
