Ameren Illinois is a regulated electric and gas delivery company based in Collinsville, Illinois. Our service territory spans 43,700 square miles, or about three-quarters of the state. Every day, we deliver electricity to 1.2 million electric and 812,000 natural gas customers in more than 1,200 communities in central and southern Illinois.

Key responsibilities include:

• Create and edit substation and transmission line drawings.

• Create and edit drawings with AutoCAD 2024 or other related CAD tools.

• Develop and edit circuit maps, electronic switching maps, survey maps, posting of facilities, reliability maps, substation drawings, road and railroad crossings, facility maps for engineering firms, landbase modifications and the editing of scanned images as related to the design and maintenance of electrical substation and transmission facilities.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of any two (2) of the following high school or college math classes with a grade of C or better: Algebra, Geometry, or Trigonometry. Transcript required prior to interview. Please be prepared to disclose your transcripts.
• Must have two years of CAD education in high school or above or equivalent experience.
