Description: NSI requires a Senior Logistics Engineer to support PMA 265 Program Office. The Senior Logistics Engineer directs and coordinates program activities designed to provide sub-contractors, management, and customers with logistics technology that ensures effective and economical support concerned for manufacturing or servicing of products, systems, or equipment: Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications, design changes, and other data to plan and develop logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life-cycle of product. Designs and implements models, databases, and tools aimed at standardizing data analysis. Compiles and writes documentation of data structure and program development in the use of new systems.
Location: Lexington Park, MD/Hybrid Education: MS or MA Degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Management, Business or Engineering. Experience: At least 10 years' FTE experience in acquisition related to in-service support of DOD weapons systems performing any of the following: LORA, maintenance planning, Logistics Support/Supportability Analysis, Operational Availability analysis, or resource requirements analysis. LCC experience desired. Four years' experience supervising and directing in the performance of comprehensive analyses across the spectrum of IS elements, during a job assignment in an Acquisition command or supporting an acquisition command. Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
