Overview
The Service Manager is responsible for the company client coordination required throughout the period of construction. This position will organize and control the preparations and execution of construction contracts to meet company objectives of cost, quality, equipment conservation and safety. This position will manage a set of varying quantity and size projects based on their developing skill level and department project workload. A senior project manager may be involved as a mentor on key projects. Project support staff (Service Coordinators, etc.) will be assigned to Project Managers as project workload dictates. Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize proper planning processes to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Work closely with field supervisor to ensure a high level of planning and monitor construction progress.
- Administer and process all invoices correspondences, payment requisitions, all other necessary internal and external documentation for contracts in progress in a timely fashion.
- Maintain client expectations and relationships.

A.) from four-year College or university; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITES:
* LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. * MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commission, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
* REASONING ABILITY: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
* OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: This position requires excellent communication skills and ability to deal tactfully with employee, owners and customers. Ability to display and convey a positive image of self and the company to all individuals in daily duties. Must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work and deal with stress. Must have the ability to work cooperatively with others. Must be capable of handling the work schedule and attendance policies required at Interstates. Must acquire and utilize the skills required to operate the Lotus Notes functions used or prescribed by the Department and Company to efficiently conduct business.
