Who is Saint Louis University? Founded in 1818, Saint Louis University is one of the nation's oldest and most prestigious Catholic universities. The Department of Political Science at Saint Louis University seeks applicants for a tenure track position in American politics starting in August 2026. Research and teaching interests within the field of Middle East politics are open. Previous teaching experience and a Ph.D. in Political Science are preferred, but ABD candidates will be considered. The appointment will be at the level of Assistant Professor. The teachingassignmentis 2/2. The department offers a BA and MA and, in coordination with the Sociology/Anthropology department, a Ph.D. in Public and Social Policy. Members of underrepresented groups in the Political Science discipline are particularly encouraged to apply.
