Position Details:
- Shift: 1stShift;Monday - Thursday; 5:00am - 3:00pm
- Pay Range: Up to $25.00/hour (basedupon experience, skill set, and shift)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Paint Line Operations
- Lead daily packing operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality packing of parts or products.
- Review work orders, shipping documentation, and labels to ensure correct items and quantities are packed.
- Assist with packaging tasks including boxing, labeling, wrapping, and palletizing.
- Inspect products for damage or defects before packing and report any issues.
- Ensure all packaging materials are used efficiently and correctly to protect products during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of packed orders and inventory as needed.
- Support inventory control by reporting shortages, miscounts, or damaged goods.
Leadership and Team Support
- Monitor productivity, update production boards, track data in ERP and ensure quality and safety compliance.
- Onboard, train, and mentor employees to optimize performance.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve challenges.
- Maintain housekeeping and enforce company policies.
- Lead and/or participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Assist in delegating jobs to department employees.
- Document and forward employee policy issues to supervisor.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience/training
Experience and/or Training:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Familiarity with packing tools, shrink-wrap machines, pallet jacks, and basic warehouse equipment.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools (e.g., drills, wrenches, pliers, grinders).
- Willingness to learn new tasks, follow procedures, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic mechanical aptitude is beneficial for troubleshooting and understanding equipment.
- Strong ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience and/or Training:
- Experience with heavy duty mount clamps, torque, and rubber grommet a plus.
- Experience in using crane to move large heavy parts a plus.
- Experience using ergonomic equipment properly such as hoists a plus.
- Experience using a hydraulic unit a plus.
Physical and Mental Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee must frequently sit, stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and move between work areas.
- Regularly required to talk and listen, as well as climb, balance, and reach above shoulder level.
- Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.
- The employee must be able to lift and or carry up to 50 lbs. frequently.
- Travel: Occasional travel to other plant locations.

Work is performed in a manufacturing environment where loud noise exposure is regular and frequent.
