The Construction Manager identifies contract worthy projects, consults on project feasibility and project site details, coordinates with construction crews, oversees project inspectors, and on a project specificbasis performs construction oversight. Theincumbent may also prepare job packages and construction estimates, conduct job walks, and meet with bidders, contractors, and governingagencies.The Construction Managerensures projects are completed per regulatoryguidelines,permits and schedule. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. A reasonable salary range is: Bay Area Minimum: $102,000. Bay Area Maximum: $162,000. Job Responsibilities: *Applies advanced knowledge of professional and technical concepts to projects focusing on Asphalt and Concrete construction management. *Attends asphalt and concrete job scope walk downs w/PG&E personal and contractor representatives.
*Interprets, and writes work specific scope *Reviews RFP's to confirm financial data submitted from the contractor matches the job scope. *Attends formal job walk downs with Project Managers and/or Gas Operation Supervisors to review the IFC (Issued For Construction) drawings and discuss scope, schedule and target dates.
Qualifications: Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience 5 years of experience in the field of Industrial engineering or Construction Desired:
