Quality Systems Manager

Spectra Tech, Inc. is hiring for a Quality Systems Manager in Memphis, Tennessee!

Job Description:
The Quality Systems Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. They will oversee quality assurance processes, conduct audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 22000, FDA, and HACCP standards.
2. Conduct regular safety audits to identify improvement areas and ensure continued safety and product quality.
3. Manage and improve the CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) system, addressing non-conformities and implementing preventive measures.
4. Oversee document control, ensuring all quality system documentation is properly maintained and current.
5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure understanding and adherence to quality standards across the company.
6. Provide training and guidance to staff on quality systems and procedures.
7. Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes related to food safety and quality.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.

Experience Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience with Quality Systems in the food manufacturing industry.
2. 5+ years of experience with FDA, HACCP, and cGMPs.
3. Proven experience with CAPA and document control.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Proficiency in quality management software and related tools.
