Description

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for performing administrative tasks and services to effectively and efficiently support the Bank's human resources department.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:



  • Provide clerical support to the human resources department.
  • Field questions from applicants and employees about policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc., and refer complex questions to appropriate human resources staff or management.
  • Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource records.
  • Perform periodic audits of human resources records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Conduct initial applicant vetting and phone screens.
  • Acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Assist with new hire orientation.
  • Participate in HR events such as benefits, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
  • Compile employee reports.
  • Assist with training activities.
  • Assist Bank executives as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize important projects.


Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:



  • High school diploma or recognized equivalent required.
  • Associate's degree in related field preferred.
  • Office experience preferred.
  • Banking experience preferred.


Equipment/Software:



  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems.
