Overview

Nakupuna Consulting is looking for a Business Analyst II. This Business Analyst II will collaborate as part of an Agile Project Delivery team to develop, track, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality project documentation. Gather, analyze, and interpret complex technical information to support documentation accuracy and alignment with system functionality. Foster cross-functional collaboration and assist in change management initiatives. Evaluate existing processes, conduct research, and analyze industry trends to support strategic organizational objectives. Design and support new projects and programs by translating client requirements into actionable solutions. Recommend improvements by analyzing current systems and product performance. Prepare technical reports and summaries by interpreting data and identifying key trends. Operate under direct supervision, handling routine issues independently while escalating complex problems to senior staff. Demonstrate foundational to intermediate knowledge of subject matter, with a strong willingness to learn and grow within the role.



Responsibilities

Management may assign additional duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. The ideal candidate will:

    Conduct thorough reviews of CDRL deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance before submission deadlines.
  • Standardization of content with a high level of attention to detail allowing for delivery of documentation with no or minimal error.
  • Prepare and submit CDRLs such as the B001 and B002 report, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Serve as acting CDRL Manager in their absence, including coordinating deliverables with MyNavyHR IT Solutions, COR, and Community Managers/Leadership.
    Track team and project activities, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met and addressing impediments through critical thinking.
  • Create complex and professional documents that communicate project aspects to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with stakeholders (internal and external) to understand business needs and identify and manage multiple, dynamic priorities.
  • Standardization of content with a high level of attention to detail allowing for delivery of documentation with minimal error.
  • Attend client meetings and track meeting minutes for archival and distribution.
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills when facing impediments.
  • Use judgement to select the best communication medium to convey content; may include use of graphics, diagrams, charts, etc.
  • Facilitate cross-team training and promote effective information sharing across the organization.
  • Drive continuous process improvement to enhance program operations and efficiency.


Qualifications

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of the Agile development process
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid judgement and decision-making abilities
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the role.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or relevant work experience
  • 2-4 years of professional experience working in a government or Department of Defense environment preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (primarily Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Visio)
  • Exposure to or use of Agile software management tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Understanding of Project Management principles associated with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile management

Clearance: A background investigation at the T3 level is required, as this is not currently a classified position. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Work Location: Work location will be in Arlington, Virginia and/or Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania 2 days on-site with a hybrid option.
