A BRIEF OVERVIEW The Maintenance Technician III performs machine maintenance and facility repairs according to safety regulations and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives, reporting to the Manager, Maintenance and Facilities.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
All facility and equipment maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting specific to the casting industry is performed by the Orchid Oregon maintenance team. Maintain and repair all equipment used for environmental protection. Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. Perform annual and semi-annual preventive maintenance on all machines, equipment, and plant facility.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment as required. Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain the site's equipment. Perform mechanic work including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Perform preventive maintenance on all machines, equipment, and plant facility. May perform basic plumbing or electrical maintenance functions. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Perform major repairs on production equipment. Comply with all relevant health and safety rules and regulations. Is trained on and can independently perform maintenance on the majority of the machines in the shop. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for maintenance repairs and service.

4+ Years Experience in production equipment maintenance (Required) Electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and/or industrial Experience (Preferred) Plumbing and HVAC experience (Preferred)
