Luther Manor is seeking an enthusiastic Leader for Our Assisted Living Communities!

The Director of the Assisted Living is responsible for the management and operations of all assisted living programs within the continuum of care at Luther Manor. This would include the (156) unit class C residential facility (CBRF) known as The Courtyards at Luther Manor, the Memory Care Unit (18) bed and (50) bed Luther Manor Terrace RCAC certified program. This position assures that the welfare, security and needs of the residents are met, and services coordinated in regulatory compliance with Luther Manor policies and procedures. This position collaborates closely with all other departments at Luther Manor to ensure optimum services are provided to residents and families at all times.



  • Plans, develops and analyzes the service needs of residents within the assisted living at Luther Manor.
  • Develops, interprets and implements policies and procedures to insure mission fulfillment with residents and their families.
  • Coordinates daily operations along with program managers which include staffing, recruitment, training and evaluation of staff .
  • Assures compliance with Wisconsin licensure regulations HFS 83, HFS 89 and HFS Adult Day Care Certification standards (F-60947).
  • Reports any non-compliance issues to the Chief Clinical Officer and assists with resolution.
  • Measures and assures resident satisfaction, attainment of quality standards in direct resident services and consistent facility maintenance.
  • Coordinates with marketing to ensure optimal occupancy. Involved in managing: residency contract completion, welcome and orientation.
  • Assures Fiscal accountability in the areas of budgeted expenditures, allocation and reporting of funds. Participates in the budgeting process.
  • Encourages a culture of safety which includes providing a safe working environment for staff by ensuring that all safety rules and regulations
  • Associated or Bachelor's Degree in Social Science, Health Administration or related field.
  • NHA preferred, however not required.
  • Experience in a management position with a senior living community or older adult services
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with a wide variety of people including older adults, their family members and peers
  • Organizational skills which demonstrate the ability to be flexible and efficient.
  • Ability to meet a flexible schedule as staffing needs dictate.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills required to effectively and tactfully.
  • Team player with a "can do" attitude.
