Position Title: Traffic Coordinator
Wage: $16.00/Hour Shifts: 1st Shift Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Friday QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Traffic Coordinator at a company in Mauston WI. Traffic Coordinator Responsibilities: - Plan and schedule shipments in the most cost-effective method, whether by route truck or contract carrier - Serve as primary contact with 3rd party logistics partner & contract carriers - Enter all orders into shipping system - Prepare shipping orders for loading crew and truck drivers - Assist customers to provide documents for Customer Pick-up orders - Notify customers of changes or updates with their order - Have an open and communicative relationship with internal and external customers with the ability to solve shipment problems as needed - Work closely with operations and customer service to maximize proper production sequence and scheduling - Negotiate rates for contract carrier deliveries and continue to increase contract carrier base - Update tracking sheets - Ship Confirm orders that have shipped - Add freight when applicable - Remove material from truck in situations that need - Work with Operations Manager on rushes that come through via email from Customer Service - Reprint any loaders, work orders, pick slips, rushes or void changes - Be backup for Administrative Assistant & Admin Manager as needed Requirements For Traffic Coordinator: - Able to sit and stand throughout shift - Able to lift up to 50lbs throughout shift - Able to work with a team and independently QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
