Job Description:

Responsibilities

Health Research, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Business Operations Administrator II to join the Office of Contracts & Operations team, within the Corporate Office, in Menands, NY. The Business Operations Administrator II will be responsible for assisting with the coordination of the NYS Essential Plan Cooling Program and to assist HRI's Operations unit with vetting purchasing requests. This position will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to consumer inquiries via email and phone. The Business Operations Administrator II position will also be responsible for assisting with the coordination of vendor applications, establishment of purchase orders, vendor invoice review and payment, organizing and maintaining documents, and will serve as a liaison to vendors and New York State of Health (NYSOH) staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of relevant experience; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and three years of relevant experience; OR five years of relevant experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Direct customer service experience, previous experience with Accounts Payable including purchase orders, invoices, vendor interactions, and processing payments. Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Workday.

Conditions of Employment

Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire. Telecommuting will be available.
