For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to a $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible experienced Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!

Summary:

The nurse manager in this role oversees both the Procedural Endoscopy Unit, the Outpatient Procedure Unit, and Vascular access Team. The Endoscopy Unit team provides comprehensive care, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure support-for patients undergoing EGDs and colonoscopies. The Outpatient Procedure Unit supports a variety of procedures, including ECTs, EGDs, colonoscopies, TEEs, cardioversions, and bronchoscopies. Prior endoscopy experience is preferred.

The nurse manager position is a key leadership and management position within the organization and provides direction for the overall growth and development of the department incorporating the objectives, policies and procedures of the nursing department and the organization. The nurse manager is responsible for effective leadership, assuring clinical excellence, promoting teamwork and collaboration, supporting professional development and managing the business of their respective units, with 24-hour/7-day accountability for the supervision of all nursing care inpatient or outpatient areas.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: A Bachelor's of Science in Nursing or higher degree and national specialty nursing certification is required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current licensed to practice as an RN in the State of Maine. ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications
  3. Experience: N/A
