What you will do: Inspectors are responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Electrical, Sprinkler or Suppression life safety product lines as well as similar competitive manufacturers' product lines. We are looking for someone with a safety mindset, a personal drive to learn the sprinkler inspections field including relevant code and testing procedures, the ability to have attention to detail for thorough and accurate reporting, a high aptitude for customer service and ability to work with customers, and a team-oriented attitude for working together to get the job done safely. How you will do it Assist team in performing routine sprinkler inspections, testing, servicing, and preventative maintenance of life safety product lines, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems. Actively engage in testing procedures and applicable code through on-the-job training, personal study and formal training. Accurately discern and document deficiencies found during an inspection. Complete Service Acknowledgement/inspections with proper coding through communicating devices, such as laptop computers, smartphones, and/or hardcopy. Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule. Complete assigned inspections on time. Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs and be capable of performing physical labor. Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment. Work with other inspectors, the Inspection Supervisor, Inspections Scheduler and management team to meet all job expectations and goals. What we look for
