What you will do Responsible for supporting Applications Engineer in the form of a lead technical resource, providing workflow assignment. Also responsible for developing comprehensive applications solutions and estimates for JCI sales opportunities, as well as, providing technical/sales support to field organization for large and/or integrated systems. How you will do it * Reviews SalesForce.com dashboards and reports to ensure CoE processes are maintained. * Assigns requests for design as required. * Ensures proper application of systems products to meet customer requirements. * Reviews bid specifications and develops exception documentation. * Assist JCI Sales Managers in preparing bid responses and functional specifications. * Assist JCI Sales and Business Operations team members in preparation of project cost estimates. * Ensures the use of JCI Policies and Procedures in all aspects of project preparation and implementation. * Provide technical assistance to Business Operations and the JCI field organization at system start up ensuring proper understanding by the field office regarding systems intent. * Assist in evaluation and beta testing of new systems and subsystems to meet present or future requirements. What we look for * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience * Four (4) to Five (5) years experience and proficiency in design, pricing and implementation of all types of integrated systems projects. Demonstrated ability to play leadership role with teams in project design, sales opportunities. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Ability to effectively interact with internal organization and customer representatives. * Possess high level of PC literacy, software, and web-based tools. * Knowledge of large project management, database connectivity, basic LAN protocols, and other data communications protocols. * High level of proficiency in access control, intrusion detection, Video Management products and concepts and fire alarm. * Ability to occasionally travel to customer locations. |
