24774BR Dispatcher Stonecroft Transportation Description Operates two-way radio to maintain effective communication between bus drivers and the transportation office; performs other activities to support office operations. Qualifications Required Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or possession of a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) certificate. Some experience in bus transportation operations and/or general office administration. Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience. Knowledge of radio and phone communication procedures. Knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment. Ability to operate a two-way radio. Ability to speak clearly. Proficiency in the use of technology. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Preferred Dispatch-related experience (such as dispatch in school or mass transportation, commercial trucking, or 911/emergency services).
