Material Estimator needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work on-site in Anaheim, CA.
Qualifications: * Must be a U.S. Citizen * Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience * Aerospace/Defense industry experience * Ability to create Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables, Excel Vlookups and organization of large amounts of data * Working knowledge of material pricing techniques * Strong presentation skills and attention to detail * Interpersonal skills and adept at resolving time sensitive problems * Understanding and working knowledge of engineering documentation and product configuration * Must have advanced computer skills (preferably Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) and a solid understanding and knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Costpoint and SAP preferred) Preferred Additional Skills: * Ability to work and prioritize effectively and complete work timely in a deadline driven environment * Understanding of Business Acquisition Process * Knowledge of FAR 15-2 and Truth and Negotiations Act Employment Prerequisites The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation and drug urinalysis.
